An elaborate and well-disguised hoax consisting of a set of supposed writings by the great master that are based on the spurious 'Codex Romanoff.' The book was actually conceived and contrived by Jonathan Routh, author, artist and broadcaster best known for founding and hosting UK's Candid Camera. Here he ventures into alternative history and uses Lenoardo's drawings to new effect: for example, the book re-interprets a piece of counter-siege artillery originally illustrated by da Vinci as a garlic crusher. The book was first published on April Fool's day in the UK.
